Projects Undertaken

The ICICI Centre for Mathematical Sciences runs a programme called Mathematics in the Modern World, under which students work on demonstrations of the uses of mathematics in the real world. These demonstrations consist of posters and computer displays, which have been displayed at several sessions of the Indian Science Congress and at educational institutions in Delhi.

Some of these projects may be useful as teaching aids or for independent study by interested students. Anyone interested in finding out more about these projects may contact any of the fellows of the Centre.

Below is a list of the projects that have been doen in the past few years. A demonstration of each is available online, which can be viewed by clicking on the link. Each module can be purchased at the mentioned price by filling in the order form. The software will be sent to you via CD.
